About Me

I am a licensed mental health counselor providing virtual therapy to clients who reside in New York. I completed my bachelors at Boston College and my masters in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University. After graduating from graduate school, I completed a two-year training in the treatment of eating disorders at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. I have also completed training in EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing) therapy. I work from a health at every size perspective and a perspective acknowledging that eating disorders develop from both individual and collective trauma (including colonization, white supremacy, sizeism, and late-stage capitalism) as well as stressful life events and complicated interpersonal dynamics.

My training and personal experiences have taught me that healing doesn't happen in a silo, but through developing trusting and caring relationships. Personally, I found this truth to be equal parts liberating and terrifying. It is scary to be known by ourselves and others. I really cherish supporting my clients in exploring, understanding, and learning how they can authentically belong to all parts of themself. I believe that we all have the capacity to heal with the right resources.
